  • High Cholesterol Levels
  • Vitamin A Toxicity
  • Copper Toxicity

The people that should avoid eating liver are:

  • Women that are pregnant– Taking high levels of Vitamin A can potentially give birth defects to your baby.
  • People that have gout- This can raise your levels of uric acid if you have gout.
  • People that have Wilsons disease– When you have this condition it makes it difficult to get rid of excess copper. So, it can build your levels to toxic level.
  • Type 2 diabetes and High Cholesterol Levels– If you have both of this it can potentially raise the risk of Fatty Liver Disease.

If you are any one of these categories talk to your doctor before having adding liver to your diet.
